In the last few years we have spent thousands with them in remodeling costs, but will never do business with them again, saving a couple of hundred dollars on 4000+ of costs was not worth doing business with them. While their prices are good, their customer service is non-existent. The 'manager', '*****' refused my request for a written statement that they would not accept the part and refused to give his full name, intending, I suspect to wait out their 20 day return policy. On attempting to return it, they refused return, saying that their return policy excludes anything that has been 'installed', which they interpret and anything but taking it out of the box, even if i cannot be installed due to being defective.Ī careful reading of that policy (printed in light grey, small type) will show that NO part of it includes any reference to this policy about installation, just that things been to be in the same state that it was received in and with the packaging, which was the case here. I cannot comment on who did this, but if Grohe did, they are seriously negligent to ship such a unit.Ī Grohe rough in box purchased at the same time was also defective (leaking cold shut off valve) but because my plumber has already trimmed the plastic housing before realizing that problem, I understand that part was non-returnable to Granite Expo. Purchased a Grohe Shower Set from them, on installation we found that the valve had been modified (machine screw had been hacked into replace where someone had broken the normal attachment) and it leaked. Please help me get even some of it back and protect others from this! Read More ![]() $1900 is a great deal of money to me and Granite Expo stole it from me. When I read other reviews, I found Im not alone and apparently theyre scamming lots of people. Theyre a large, busy store of a large corporation and it never occurred to me theyd be selling defective products with absolutely no remorse. They sold me $2000 worth of defective granite and they either knew it and just scammed me or never checked their inventory to be sure it was not defective. I will have to dispose of these slabs and buy entirely new ones. I went immediately to Granite Expo to ask for replacement slabs or a refund or any remedy, and they refused anything. They also were supposed to be numbered so they would match but they were not. The project got delayed and and when he looked at them to cut them, he found they were *******************, cut wrong, not matched and unusable. We took the slabs to the fabricator who stored them without looking at them until we needed them. When we loaded two onto my contractors truck he noticed some flaws. When we picked up the slabs, we were still not allowed to look at them to pick the ones we wanted. ![]() After paying them $1902.81, they would not let me look at the slabs, which were hidden behind other granite. ![]() When customers satisfy with my design and installation completed with no trouble that is the most enjoyable part of the job.11/17/21 I purchased two slabs of granite from Granite Expo in **********. ![]() The boss and co-workers are good but due to different department rules make pressure to this job, and customers did not accept any excuse for delay or defection of products that make the hardest part of the job. In this job I become very detail and patient. After customers order need to sign contract then follow up the order and installation, a lot detail need to be taken care, if a little mistake will ruin customers' kitchen and make company lost. It is busy every day when I worked at the Granite Export, I use 20/20 program to design kitchen for customers, make layout and suggest cabinets then select granite counter top to mach cabinet for customer, help customer select tile for the back splash and floor tile, if need, also match vanity and tiles for bath rooms to make whole house pretty and perfect.Ĭustomers may come several times to change design, need to be very patient to discuss with customers.
